In the 2nd One-Day International of the Pakistan and Zimbabwe One-Day series, Hasan Ali completed the milestone of taking most number of wickets as a fast bowler after completing 32 One-Day Internationals. He took the total of 66 wickets with an average of taking a wicket after every 20 runs conceded. Previously this record was held by Mitchell McCleneghan who took 64 wickets in 32 One-Day Internationals.
Hasan has become a main man of the Pakistani bowling line-up in such a short span of time and his bowling form could be a key to success for the Pakistan limited-over side. With the World Cup coming, Pakistan would expect from Hasan to keep his furiousness display of bowling going so he could play a vital role in guiding Pakistan to the win of the ODI World Cup after the period of 27 years.
