Tamim Iqbal comes out to bat with the fractured wrist and earns huge respect of fans

It was announced that Bangladesh will not have services of Tamim Iqbal for the remaining part of Asia Cup after he picked an injury which fractured his wrist during the early phase of innings.

The injury compelled him to leave the field when his team was in critical circumstances.

The Bangladeshi opener despite all the speculations showed his character and decided to stand out with steadfastness for his team. He faced the delivery with one hand and built vital stand of 32 runs with the captain.

Bangladesh gave the target of 262 runs for Sri Lanka and they would look to maintain their command in the game so they could have a winning start in the tournament.
