Different Pakistani journalists have made shocking claims about Pakistan Cricket Team hotel in England. 

Pakistan Cricket Team’s roster of 29 players reached England on June 28 to play three Tests and three T20 internationals. 

The intra-squad matches are being conducted to prepare players for the international cricket assignment against England. The tour will start officially from August 5 when Pakistan will face England for a Test match at Manchester.

Due to the situation of COVID-19, the players of both teams have been kept under strict observation.

According to the journalist Saleem Khalid, who wrote an article for Cricket Pakistan revealing inner facts about the touring team hotel, Pakistan Cricket Team has been given a stay in three-star hotels in England. 

The sources reveal that facilities of the swimming pool and gymnasium were not available in Pakistan Cricket Team hotel in Worcester. 

The squad was served food on the floor and players were restricted from eating together. 

Sikander Bakht and Yahya Hussaini blamed PCB

In a sports show on Geo Super, a renowned journalist Abdul Majid Bhatti made a claim that West Indian team has been provided a stay in a five-star hotel in Manchester. 

The conversation between analyst Sikander Bakht and journalist Yahya Hussaini in the show highlighted the issue of poor facilities in Pakistan’s Cricket Team hotel in Worcester. 

In the discussion, Sikander and Yahya blamed Pakistan Cricket Board’s approach towards the England tour.

According to Sikander, Pakistan Cricket Board should’ve shown their concerns because England was desperate for Pakistan’s series in England.

Sikander recalled how BCCI is making efforts to have the Indian cricket team stay in a five-star hotel at Adelaide for the Australian tour and is showing hesitance on the 14-day isolation policy.

As the Pakistan cricket team has arrived in Derby, the revealed sources told that the facilities in the new hotel have improved significantly.

The players have now been provided the perks of swimming pool, gym and also the games like table tennis, snooker, carom and darts for amusements in a three-star hotel in Derby.
