Mickey Arthur cried after being axed as head coach

The former head coach of Pakistan, Mickey Arthur, cried when his stint ended with the team.

According to a source, Arthur complained about being unfairly axed from the job.

“The team for which my personal life got affected and I got separated from my wife, removed me like this,” said Arthur, who served Pakistan for four years.

Arthur’s coaching played a significant role in major triumphs of Pakistan. The side won one of the most significant tournaments Champions Trophy, became the number one T20I side and drew the Test series against England in their home soil for two times.

Mickey Arthur claimed that he left his commitments due to his job duties.

He said, “I was unable to give time to my family in the past three years, which is why my wife left me.”

Pakistan is looking for the successor of Mickey Arthur before the critical phase of their international cricket assignment.
