The spin-bowling all-rounder Imad Wasim has expressed his opinion on the head coach’s saga.
In a recent interview with PakPassion, Imad Wasim showed his desire of having the head coach who’ll work towards the betterment of Pakistan cricket.
According to him, if the head coach fulfills his duty with right intent, the nationality of the person coaching wouldn’t be making any difference.
“Regardless of where the coach is from, the key idea is for him to keep pushing Pakistan cricket in the right direction and as long as he does that, he would be the ideal person for the job,” shared his thoughts Imad.
Imad did not feel happy about the exclusion of Mickey Arthur.
“It was sad to see Mickey Arthur leave the role of head coach but that was a decision which Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had made,” said the number two T20I bowler, Imad Wasim.
Imad Wasim wishes to work with the former head coach again in the assignments apart from international cricket.
Imad stated, “I hope that I will have another chance to work with Mickey in the future perhaps at some sort of domestic or league level,”
Imad Wasim has represented Pakistan in 52 One Days and 35 Twenty20 Internationals.
