Fakhar Zaman became the first Pakistani to score a double hundred in the One-Day Internationals after the player scored 210 runs to get himself in the elite list of double centurions. Fakhar is overall the 8th batsman in the world of cricket to achieve the feat of scoring a double century.

The record of being a highest individual scorer of Pakistan in One-Day Internationals which was once held by Saeed Anwar (194 runs against India in 1997) for 21 years is busted out finally with Fakhar taking his spot after the dream day he had in Bulawayo.

Fakhar thrashed the ball all around the park throughout the innings with the help 26 boundaries (21 fours, 5 sixes) and remained not out till the end of innings. Fakhar Zaman batting also helped Pakistan to get at their highest One day total, which is now 399 runs after the team surpassed the previous record of 384 runs scored by Pakistan against Bangladesh in 2010.

With scoring three centuries in such a short period of time and having an average of more than 50+ with a healthy strike-rate, Fakhar seems to be a man Pakistan team was looking for a lot of time and he still has a lot to offer for Pakistani team in an important upcoming events of Asia Cup and World Cup.
