England & Wales Cricket Board has announced the English squad for the team’s third Test match against India.

It is the same squad which was announced for the second Test match and England has decided to prepare themselves with the unchanged line-up for their outing against the no.1 side in Nottingham.

Ben Stokes, who played a significant role in the England win at Edgbaston, will miss out the 3rd Test against India because of his court affairs.

England and India will play each other for the third Test match on August 18 at Trent Bridge, Nottingham.

England is leading the five-match series with the margin of 2-0 and they would like to keep their momentum going so they could take the series away from the visitors.

England squad for the third Test match against India: Joe Root (Captain), Jonny Bairstow (Wicket-Keeper), Jos Buttler, Alistair Cook, Ollie Pope, Keaton Jennings, Moeen Ali, Chris Woakes, James Anderson, Stuart Broad, Sam Curran, Jamie Porter, Adil Rashid
