Pakistan defeated Afghanistan by 3 wickets in a nail-biting contest and the match had all the ingredients which the perfect cricket contest demands.

There is always a certain instance in any game that becomes the centre of attraction for some time on the social media.

The match witnessed steadiness of Rahmat, calmness of Imam and brilliance of Malik which took his team home but what became the centre of attraction was the celebration of Rashid Khan after dismissing the Pakistani batsmen on crucial stage to turn the game in Afghanistan’s favour.

Rashid dismissed Asif Ali on the very next ball following the delivery on which he was smashed for a gigantic six. He glared and pointed his finger towards Asif.

The number two bowler of ODI cricket shattered the stumps of Muhammad Nawaz in his next over and gestured with his finger furiously to ask the batsman to return on his way back to the pavilion.

Rashid Khan was fined 15 percent of his match fees for along with Asghar Afghan and Hasan Ali for breaching the ICC Code of conduct. The trio received one demerit point each for their misconduct in the match.

Some are saying that these kinds of incidents are part of the game and few are of the view that the behaviour of Rashid towards the Pakistani players was offensive and disrespectful.

The pundits expect that all of these instances happen just at the particular moment and nothing personal is directed towards anyone.
