When Captains Ben Stokes and Jason Holder Nearly Broke a New ICC Rule

The international cricket has finally returned after a long gap of 117 days with captains Ben Stokes and Jason Holder sharing funny moments ahead of the historical encounter.

According to the International Cricket Council’s new rules, the handshakes between the players of opposing teams would not be performed.

Funnily, Captains Stokes and Holder stopped just before having a physical interaction as they remembered the social distancing rule.

Afterward, both captains and broadcaster shared heavy laughter ahead of the Ben Stokes interview at the toss.

The coronavirus pandemic has forced the International Cricket Council to modify their original rules to bring regular cricket back in action.

One of the most significant modifications in the rules was disallowing bowlers from using saliva on the cricket ball.
